COOKING CLASS - Fresh Spring Recipe Favorites!

Celebrate spring on April 30, 2016, from 11 am to 1 pm with Our Iowa magazine's, Karen Davis, as she hosts this demonstration-style cooking class. The class will take place in the Mills Civic Hy-Vee "club room" which is located on the second floor of the store at 555 S. 51st Street, West Des Moines, IA 50265. The store is just a few minutes from Jordan Creek Mall.
Tickets are $27 per person and may be purchased above.
Bring your sister, mother, daughter, friend, husband, or wife, and join in the fun. You can attend the class during lunch time, and then enjoy the afternoon shopping and exploring the area.
The Hy-Vee classroom includes a kitchen island, cooktop, ovens, and an overhead mirror for easy viewing. Class members will be treated to samples of each recipe.

Karen Davis writes a "Cooking with Karen" cooking tips column for every issue of Our Iowa magazine. She has also spent nearly 10 years as a traveling cooking class instructor for Taste of Home Cooking Schools. Karen grew up on a farm in central Iowa and loves promoting Iowa foods. Her classes feature family-friendly recipes with down-to-earth ingredients.
