Day of Recovery-Living in the Light- April 27th
A chance for community providers and clients to celebrate the process of recovery. The day consists of several speakers with varying perspectives on the process of recovery. Our first speaker, Bill Gamble is a passionate and dynamic mental health advocate from the Mental Health Empowerment project. Our second speaker is Andrew Mckenna, author of Sheer Madness: From Federal Prosecutor to Federal Prisoner. After lunch we will have Doctor Lavin , Addiction Psychiatrist, from Lourdes Hospital. The day will end with a panel discussion with speakers from area recovery groups such as AA, , NA, Celebrate Recovery and others.
