WHAT:
It is 2039, it is 1959, it is 1988, rain has been falling. 2039: Fish are nearly extinct, Gabriel York is walking down the street trying to decide what to cook his son (who has not seen for over ten years) for lunch, when a fish falls in his hand. 1959: Fish soup is so common it is gross, Elizabeth Law is dealing with a new child and a husband who she is discovering more and more each day that she doesnt really know him. 1988: Gabriel Law and Gabrielle York meet and fall in love. Her family is all dead, and he has left his family because he feels like his family has left him. Throughout the course of the play an audience begins to discover how all of these stories are related and how each character is tied to the next through the collected memories of a family.
