Wayne State Police Memorial Banquet
Wayne State Police Officers' Memorial Banquet and Award Service will be held on June 3, 2016 at the Hickory Hollow Golf Club. This year we are proud to honor the late Officer Ed Kinney.
This is a special occasion as Wayne State University Police Department is celebrating 50 years of service in 2016. This banquet is a chance for former and current employees along with friends and family to get together and celebrate. The banquet follows the Wayne State Police Officers' Memorial Golf Outing earlier in the day at the course. Interested golfers can call the Hickory Hollow Club at 586-949-9033 to make tee-time reservations.
The committee will honor the late Officer Ed Kinney and his family at the dinner. Kinney was one of the first five officers and served the department from 1966 to 2003.
The officer's association will also announce the recipient of the Randy Guzowski Officer of the Year Award and honor them at the event along with the inaugural recipient Troy Eaton.
Social hour begins at 4 p.m. followed by dinner at 5:30 p.m. A ticket entitles you to dinner, soda and beer as well as the chance to win a door prize. Raffles and 50/50 will also take place.
