Baltimore vs DC SIDESHOWDOWN
There has been a terrible storm brewing on the horizon for a while. Its been sitting in traffic on 95, but its about to erupt in a brutal explosion of talent! Broken glass and beds of nails are being drug down 295 to meet up with flaming torches and straitjackets! That's right, WASHINGTON DC IS GOING HEAD TO HEAD WITH BALTIMORE MD! It is the battle to the pain! Who will win? Who will lose? Who will still be alive when the cinderblock dust clears? Its all a mystery now, but the winners will clearly be in the crowd! Lets meet our champions!
Hailing from the city of crack cocaine and unicorns, we have Valeria Voxx! This second generation sideshow vixen has performed in her native Baltimore at The Lyric Operahouse, The Windup Space, Ottobar, and Club Orpheus as well as in DC at the Bier Baron, Black Cat, and the celebrated Red Palace.Valeria started her burlesque career as an original member of Black Tassel Boolesque. You may also have seen her at the Jim Thorpe, Philadelphia, and Asheville Americana Burlesque Festivals. She has danced as one of the World Famous Cab Calloway Fan Dancers, done multiple shows with Gilded Lily, Hot Night Productions, Twisted Knickers, The Baltimore Birdcage, DCs Valentine Candy Burlesque, The Carnivalesque Roadshow, Compound 50/50's production of Barbarellesque, and she is a part of the Baltimore branch of Dr. Sketchys.
Bringing the Shaved head and the sexy from Baltimore, we have Shaggy Wilcox! Wealthy playboy by day, sideshow strongman by night. Ever since he watched his parents shot to death outside of a theatre, Shaggy has sworn to avenge them and wear funny costumes.
Representing the city without any representation, we have Xander Lovecraft! Xander is a Coney Island trained Sideshow performer, who's also a world traveled burlesque emcee and performer. He emceed shows during the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and has even toured with Dave Chappelle and Flight of the Conchords back in 2013. He loves nothing more than traveling the world and preaching the good gospel of "Our Lady Sideshow". The Church of Sideshow is in session!"
The next performer has done terrible things to soy based products, but he can only win our hearts, Jim Dandy! After a successful 5-year tour with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Jim Dandy changed his stage moniker from Crickett and began to concentrate on the diverse and colorful world of Burlesque, Variety, and Sideshow. A multi-talented dynamo, audiences both familiar and unfamiliar with sideshow and burlesque have all been delighted and amazed by his antics. No audience is too large or small, Jim Dandy is sure to be a hit whether he's using his unparalleled juggling sticks, hosting the show, or simply eating a block of tofu.
The audience may need a few moments to clean off the blood and pull their jaws off the floor, and for that we have The Reverend Valentine! The note from her parole officer reads "Reverend Valentine should totally be freed up by April 2nd for this kick ass show as long as she keeps up her good behavior." Her burlesque proves the quickest way to a man's heart is through the chest, and she will certainly get your blood flowing, possibly all over the floor!

Representing Baltimore, we have Hot Todd Lincoln! Hot Todd Lincoln is a Baltimore based emcee, producer, and sideshow performer in the greater Washington, DC area. He connects with audiences using dry wit, bad puns, classic sideshow stunts, and snappy suits. He has hosted and performed in shows throughout the I-95 corridor, also dubbed the Tassel Trail! (He wrote that), as well as far off and mystical lands such as NYC, Falls Church, VA, New Orleans,LA, Washington, DC, West Chester, Pennsylvania, Richmond, VA,...just to name a few. He is the co-producer of Hot Night Productions, and is current emcee for Twisted Knickers Burlesque. He has been a guest emcee for such troupes as Wasabassco Burlesque, Black Tassel Boolesque, Peek-A-Boo Revue, Gilded Lily Burlesque, Sticky Buns Burlesque, and Birdcage Burlesque.
Representing DC we have Charlie Artful! Charlie Artful proves God is dead and it has risen to become a sideshow performer! Billed as DC's sideshow son, he has performed all over the east coast and will perform straight into your heart! Often doing terrible things to his body for applause and free drinks, audience members are known to run from the venue screaming!
This is the show that will lay to rest the question "which city is more brutal!"
