Comedy Night @Allington
Back by popular demand is an overused cliché in the world of entertainment. However in the case of Allingtons comedy night it is more than justified.
The first comedy night held last October was a great success and the organisers the playing field fundraisers have been asked to repeat the event by many people. And here it is.
The show will take place on Saturday 30 April and will feature Lee Kyle, John Ryan and Mandy Muden. Tickets go on sale on 14th March and will be available from the shop, the pub and online.
Some of the material will contain adult themes and will be unsuitable for children.
Lee Kyle Described by the BBC as a top up-and-coming comedy performer, Lee Kyle has spend much of his life on a never ending quest to never have a proper job.
He was in an all male Spice Girls tribute act before spending a decade as a professional wrestler and then trying his hand at stand-up.
Managing the difficult trick of being both odd and relatable, his jokes veer between the clever and the silly and deliver more than their fair share of belly laughs.
He has written for Radio 4 and appeared on BBC Radios Jesting About and wrote and starred in a sketch for ITVs coverage of the Rugby World Cup, despite having no interest in rugby.
Mandy Muden Mandy is on her own. The only woman ever to combine comedy and magic on the UK Comedy and Corporate Circuits.
She has a striking personality wit a very sharp wit and so creates a fantastic rapport, offering a great line in audience participation. She can adapt her show to any type of even and audience. Having performed all over the world from comedy clubs to the most prestigious corporate event.
