REBETOPAREA Returns to The Burren
Join REBETOPAREA for an updated program of rebetiko music.
Rebetoparea is a group of musicians from the Boston area with a passion for rebetiko, the Greek music of the "underclass," as many describe it. Using the traditional rebetiko instruments (bouzouki, baglama, guitar, violin and accordion). Rebetoparea have been performing throughout New England to receptive audiences for a number of years.
Rebetoparea members are:
Kosmas Vrouvlianis, vocals and second bouzouki
Yiannis Mitaras, first bouzouki
Sandy Theodorou, vocals and accordion
Annemoon Van Erp, vocals and violin
Panayiotis Vorvis, baglama
Giorgos Galanakis, guitar
John Bogis, bass guitar
Only steps from the Davis Square Red Line stop. Reservations are a must! Doors open at 5:30 PM for best seating and dinner.
