Analemma Wine Dinner at Roe
Join us for a four-course dinner featuring the wines of Steven Thompson, winemaker for Analemma Wines.
Thompson has traveled the world perfecting his winemaking techniques. In 2010, he and his wife and co-conspiritor, Kris Fade, settled on their current Columbia Gorge site to lease one of the oldest vineyards in the Pacific Northwest: the Atavus Vineyard. Along with the Atavus Vineyard, Thompson and Fade now source grapes from two other vineyards in the Gorge-- Oak Ridge and the Mosier Hills--to produce Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, and a number of lovely sparklings. PDX Monthly says of their 2011 Blanc de Noir, "One of the best sparkling wines in America, this is one of the few domestic sparklers that can stand shoulder to shoulder with Champagne."
Dinner will include discussion with the winemaker and a chance to purchase bottles at retail prices.
