Classical Series: Encanto - with Jose Iniguez
José's performance includes selections from various traditional operas, and selections from the Latin American style of Boleros. In collaborations with Latin American composers and musicians, José has been transcribing bolero music, which traditionally requires a full mariachi band, to the classical piano. Audiences have enjoyed his pairing of the beauty of classical opera arias with the charm of mariachi bolero. Jose will be accompanied for portions of the performance by members of YAMA, who will also receive a portion of the nights' proceeds.
