Raise the Gym with David Epstein and Phillip Fulmer
Normal Park Museum Magnet Lower School Gymnasium Fund and Lightning Athletic Club are pleased to present an Evening with Author David Epstein and former UT Vols legendary football coach and Tennessee icon Phillip Fulmer on Monday, February 22nd at the Tivoli Theater.
Mr. Epstein wrote the New York Times Best Seller "The Sports Gene: Inside the Science of Extraordinary Athletic Performance". "As the former Senior Writer for Sports Illustrated, Mr. Epstein has become one of the top sports science and medicine investigative journalist today."
Coach Fulmer served as head coach of the Tennessee Volunteers football team from 1992 to 2008, compiling a 15252 record. He is best known for coaching the Volunteers in the first ever BCS National Championship Game in 1998, defeating Florida State University.
