DCAVS Lunch and Learn Program, Wednesday, January 27, 2016

United Way Volunteer Center staff will walk through some of the new features of www.volunteeryourtime.org and show you how to get the most out of using the site. We will also have a discussion around using social media to promote volunteer opportunities and share some of the best practices.

Please bring your Wi-Fi enabled laptop or tablet/mobile devise to be able to update your own agency listings in real time or for a hands on tutorial of the site.

VolunteerYourTime.org is an online database that allows users to search through hundreds of opportunities throughout Dane County. Search for one-time or on-going opportunities that fit their volunteer needs and make a difference in our community! In October of 2015 United Way and their partners Madison College, Edgewood College and The Morgridge Center for Public Service switched the website to a new platform that offers new features and capabilities.

The cost for this DCAVS Lunch and Learn Program is $14.00 for members and $21.00 for non-members. The cost includes meal and seminar fee. Payment is required, once registered, whether you attend or not.
