Dear Friends; For the past three years The Mothers Project has participated in the Bayou Children's Relief Fund Drive created by my colleague and friend, Elaine Langley through Plenty International (Plenty.org) a veteran relief organization delivering services around the world. Elaine takes a gigantic truck filled with much needed household items, clothing, and toys collected through donations, from her home in Lewis County, Tennessee, where she has lived for many years on the longest existing commune (The Farm) in America.
Your donations don't just bring toys and needed household items for these families. Financial help from The Mothers Project brings enough money to fund Christmas Dinner for these Native American tribes living in an area devastated by recent storms and the continuous invasion of oil and gas industry.
