Townsend shares his technique from concept to development, through the various stages of rewrites and pitching to studios as well as providing advice on how to close the deal with clarity, precision and confidence. However, not everyone is successful in their pursuit of a film or entertainment related career. Unlike corporate America, entertainment professionals face the challenge of finding the invisible ladder of success before they can even take the first step. As the industry adage goes, "the best way to get a job in the industry is to work in the industry." This course is designed to walk you through the process of getting into the industry including what to include on your resume with no experience and how to ensure you get picked up.
