Bards & Brew

San Antonio Poet Laureate and Guadalupe literary arts director, Laurie Ann Guerrero, invites you to Bards & Brew: a gathering of San Antonio's local poets and breweries. Held at the Guadalupe Cultural Art's outdoor parque on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015 from 7:30-10:30pm, five local poets will enter the "ring of fire" to showcase the best of our city's bards from the Northside, Southside, Eastside and Westside while you enjoy samplings from one of our great local breweries! Come celebrate the great diversity of our city as we carve out a space where histories, love, neighborhoods, music, truth, and fire come together to strengthen the voice of our community. Because poetry, like beer, is for everyone.

Local poets participating in the event include Octavio Quintanilla, Natalia Treviño, Vincent Cooper, Amanda Flores, and Darrell Pittman. Music by Foolish Sounds.
