SoloWeek Festival Pass
The $25 Festival Pass grants you full access to all twelve shows for SoloWeek from December 7-11! Each show is $10. That's about a million dollars in savings!
The Tank has brought together some of the best new faces in the NYC Storytelling scene who are pushing the boundaries of what can be done with a solo storytelling show. From the use of audio reenactments, to videos of the storyteller's parents, to skype calls across country - this will be a glimpse into where we can go. If you are interested in experiments that push us to envision a different world and you like solo storytelling, these are the shows for you.
About Standard ToyKraft
Big thanks to our partners at Standard ToyKraft, who are giving us a home for our shows during our dark months at our regular home in Times Square! Why are we dark in Times Square? Because our lease is funky! #nonprofitarts We'll be back up and running at 151 West 46th in Manhattan in January.
Standard ToyKraft is an artist run theater that offers low-cost performance and rehearsal space as well as a puppet shop and private studios for visual artists. The founders of STK discovered a derelict factory floor located in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn With lots of blood, sweat and more tears than any of us care to admit we transformed this old sweatshop into a community organization. At the core Standard Toykraft is a community endeavor. Our community of artists continues to grow in this tough city because, we provide a supportive refuge for the development of work. We also produce many of our own shows and events including puppet slams, variety shows, vaudevillian weirdness and various spectacles for the amusement of our patrons.
