Insatiable is a bold contemporary exploration for Taiko (Japanese drumming) engaging the audience in powerful drumming, poignant choreography and lyrical singing. UNIT
SOUZOU's Director Michelle Fujii has delved into life's eternal hungers and desires, reoccurring cycles and repetitions, and how these universal experiences and emotions impact all of us. Th is theatrical full length dynamic and evocative program features high intensity taiko drumming, koto (13-string zither), contemporary reflections on Japanese dance, and vivid singing.
