Nathan Rivera Band
Hailing from the streets of New Orleans, the gypsy-folk musician friends of Nathan Rivera have travelled the world with him to share their gift of good-time music: "Spreading positivity and joy one note at a time!" The Nathan Rivera Band returns to San Miguel this weekend, to share their music and perform their original "gypsy blues" live at Shelter Theater Friday, October 30th at 7:30 pm and Saturday, October 31st at 7:30 pm. Californians Nathan Rivera, Jessie Andra Smith, Karl Kummerle and Milly Racoon are sure to put a smile on your face with their upbeat tunes inspired by their travels around the world. Jessie's jazz guitar and heartfelt singing have earned her a special place in the hearts of San Miguel, and, paired with Nathan Rivera's eclectic accordion and fluent improvisation, they meld together to create a truly unique and exhilarating show. The group's four-part vocal harmonies, deft fiddling, jazz guitar, and hilarious showmanship blend to make their show an unforgettable event. Buy tickets at the biblioteca or online at sheltervg4.com. 150 pesos.
