This concert highlights Mexican composers, including well-known film composer Arturo Rodriguez (arrangements of many favorite works, including the music from Cri-Cri, along with his own Mosacio Mexicano) and will feature local singer Beatriz Herrera--who will be singing arrangements by Rodriguez. Also on the program: El laberinto de la soledad by Juan Pablo Contreras, and La noche de los mayas, by Silvestre Revueltas. Students from all three of our orchestras will perform. What a celebration!
The concert is offered free of charge with the hope that those who are able to give will give generously.
Suggested charitable contribution for adults is $15 and up.
For youth? FREE! (Please note: a sliding scale applies for all ages--anyone can attend free of charge. We want everyone to attend!)
NOTE: THIS WILL BE A SOLD-OUT EVENT. PLEASE BE SURE TO ARRIVE IN TIME TO CLAIM YOUR TICKETS AND SEATS. ALL UNCLAIMED SEATS WILL BE RELEASED 5 MINUTES BEFORE THE PERFORMANCE BEGINS.
