10 Plays in May
WARP's Spring Show, "10 Plays in May", explores self-actualization in all of its many guises from self-discovery through self-delusion, from the mundane to the magical, through music, marriage (or the prospect thereof), real estate transactions (real or imagined), the fantasy of winning at bingo, talks with the furniture, and a sex change.
The lineup includes ten original works by Seattle playwrights Rita Andreeva, Chris Fruitrich, a debut work by new writer Betsy Geller, Bryan Harthorne, Jeremy January, John Ruoff, Mari Salinas Jorj Savage, John Paul Sharp, and last but not least Troupe Comique.
Cast includes Scot Bastian, Carmen Cook, Ellen Covey, Josie De Lellis, Shannon Eyre, Oneda Harris, Bryan Harthorne, Jeremy January, Dale Kazdan, Chris Mathews, Francesca Mondelli, Tim Moriarty, Will Phillips, Joshua Richards, John Ruoff, Mari Salinas, Jorj Savage, John Paul Sharp, Erica Sorenson, Breanne Sterbick, Mara Steve, Stephanie Wichmann, Ruth Yeo.
Performances will be at the Seattle Center TPS Theater 4, located on the fourth floor of the Center House, with evening shows on on May 4, 5, 11, and 12, and a Sunday matinee on May 13. Evening performances start at 8PM, with doors opening at 7:30 PM. The matinee starts at 2:00 with doors opening at 1:30. Tickets are $10 at the door, $5 for students and those over 65.
