Medora's Old Fashioned Cowboy Christmas Melodrama - When Christmas Left Rattler Canyon
When Christmas Left Rattler Canyon By Dean Belanger
Big Bad Ben, abandoned by his parents as a child grew up hating Christmas and when he wins the deed to the town of Rattler Canyon from Mayor Clive Plumnut, Ben bans celebrating Christmas forever.
Diamond Dan, protector of what is right, without his knowledge, is volunteered by Johnny, the saloon and inn keeper, to a shootout with Big Bad Ben at sundown in an attempt to free the town of Ben's Christmas ban! What Johnny doesn't know is that Diamond Dan has lost his nerve after tangling with the scourge of the west, The Ringo Sisters, Rexella and Isabella, who have been robbing, pillaging and being real nasty characters to the good folks in the old West.
Margo, our heroine, does her best to help Diamond Dan regain his confidence when in walks Rexella and Isabella Ringo, the crime sisters of the west!
Johnny not knowing where to turn for help begs for a sign from above -- Enter Marie & Joey. Marie, who is expecting a baby any moment, arrives after a long mule ride with her husband Joey only to find there is no room at the inn. What will Marie and Joey do in their time of need?
Will Margo be able to restore the confidence Diamond Dan needs to face Big Bad Ben in a shoot-out at sundown? Will the Ringo Sisters cause Diamond Dan to lose his nerve and run away from Rattler Canyon? Will Christmas ever return to Rattler Canyon? Will Margo and Diamond Dan fall in love? Will Big Bad Ben ever change his mind about Christmas?
Will these questions ever stop????
