Night at the Museum - A black-tie event
We're bringing our first-class dining experience in James J. Hill's historic Empire Builder cars to the Twin Cities! From 6-8pm, we're inviting a limited number of guests to an exclusive dinner on a 70 yr old vintage train car (Stationary on a train track right inside our 100 yr old historic museum for the evening). An exquisitely prepared three course meal with wine pairings will be accompanied by live jazz. Of course, we love unique ways to make history and education interesting here at the Transportation Museum, so we're going to make sure the evening includes some light-hearted, historically based entertainment too! ***Main course meal options choices include: 1. Prime Rib or 2. Thai Ginger Salmon or 3. Filled Portobello Mushroom. -- PLEASE CHOOSE OPTION AND MAKE NOTE IN THE COMMENT SECTION WHEN PURCHASING TICKETS. IF NO SELECTION IS MADE, PRIME RIB WILL BE DEFAULT CHOICE. *Only a limited amount of 40 dinner seat tickets are available for this portion of the evening.
Then, from 8-10pm, we're opening the Roundhouse up for post dinner entertainment. A jazz quartet and swing dancers will set the mood, while guests explore the vintage train cars, enjoying whiskey, scotch AND bourbon tastings with light food pairings. Remember we said we love quirky ways to learn new things? Well there are going to be educational and historical elements thrown in throughout the night. *Only a limited amount of 50 tickets are available for this portion of the evening.
**IF YOU PURCHASE TICKETS TO THE DINNER PORTION OF THE EVENING, it also INCLUDES the POST-DINNER ACCESS AS WELL.
