Raz Kennedy presents Complete Vocal Technique for Every Singer
Premiere Bay Area vocal coach, Raz Kennedy presents "CVT for Every Singer", a one day intensive for vocalists who are curious to develop a deeper understanding of Complete Vocal Technique and implement the methods for themselves. The first portion of this interactive workshop will feature a theoretical breakdown of CVT fundamentals (the three overall principles and the four modes - neutral, curbing, overdrive, and edge). Raz Kennedy will demonstrate these techniques and theories, using contemporary musical examples to illustrate their natural applications.
The seminar will then advance into a participatory phase, where attendees will engage in the direct deployment of CVT techniques. A segment of the intensive will be dedicated to one-on-one vocal demonstrations overseen by Raz Kennedy, featuring randomly selected members of the audience. Participants are encouraged to prepare a musical phrase to workshop. Victoria Theodore (pianist and backing vocalist for Stevie Wonder) will be providing piano accompaniment for all interactive demonstrations.
