The full-day workshop offers insights on how to bring about a change in the culture and practices of your nonprofit board in ways that leverage the power of your board to raise funds for your organization.
This course is specifically designed to address the challenges that arise when boards and fundraising meet. If your organization has ever asked how it can get board members to actively raise money, this course is for you. This one day course emphasizes the strategies necessary to bring about a change in the culture of your nonprofit, so your board will fundraise more and manage less. You will cover topics such as:
What impact the fundraising landscape has on your fundraising efforts
How to make the case
Specific fundraising strategies
Nonprofit board roles and responsibilities
How to build your board
How to create a governance model
Principles of governance as leadership
