Hazzan Alberto Mizrahi: A Voice of the People
Hazzan Alberto Mizrahi of Anshe Emet Synagogue in Chicago will perform his popular program "A Voice of a People" as the opening concert in the 2015 2016 season of Kol Emet: The Jewish Music Project of Beth Emet the Free Synagogue.
Spanning nine languages, Mizrahi's repertoire makes every performance a musical journey to the heart of the Jewish faith. This program features a mélange of Hebrew, Yiddish and Sephardic songs and will include duets with Cantor Susan Lewis Friedman of Beth Emet.
