Basic Hog Butchery 100
Learn basic butchery skills while breaking down a side of Payne Family Farm pork with Ben Meyer, our head chef and butcher. Students will gain hands-on experience, with expert guidance in merchandising a side of pork, and leave with a quarter hog, ready to stock the home larder. Any level of experience is welcome, as we demystify hog butchery. Snacks and beverages will be provided, along with necessary tools for the job. This class is limited to 8 students, so we can focus on each member of the class. $300 per person, with an even share of the pork and snacks and beverages!
