Walk the Line: A Sculpture Pilgrimage
Join Art History UK in East London to follow the Greenwich Meridian Line sculpture walk. As your pilgrimage unfolds, countless stories will be told through a world class selection of modern and contemporary art that studs the route. As well as learning about famous east London landmarks such as Richard Rogers' Millenium Dome and the Olympic Park, you'll look at works by Damien Hirst Eduardo Paolozzi, Abigai Fallis, Martin Creed, Bill Viola, Anthony Gormley and much more.
The Line is three miles long and stretches from Greenwich Peninsula to Stratford. At the end of the walk there'll be drinks in Stratford for those who are able to join.
If you'd rather send a cheque please make one out to Art History UK and post it to 148 Sulgrave Road, London, W67PU. -If you cancel within a week of the event, half the cost of the tour will be refunded. If you cancel within 24 hours of the tour, we regret that we will not be able to refund any of the cost. -Please note that we can only run this tour if we have an attendance of 5 people.
