Event
Mayday Champagne Picnic and visit to Kenwood House
Meet Art History UK at Kenwood House, Hampstead for a champagne picnic and tour. Picnicking first in Humphrey Repton's beautiful grounds, we'll then head into this stunning neoclassical country villa, remodeled by Robert Adam. Inside these elegant rooms, we'll find an amazingly intimate collection of world class art, including arguably the best Rembrandt in the country. We'll also look at the fascinating life of William Murray, 1st Earl of Mansfield, who was integral in the movement to abolish slavery.
Art History UK will provide the champagne for this picnic. Please bring your own food. Should it be pouring with rain, we'll bring out Plan B.
- If you'd rather send a cheque, please make one out to Art History UK and post it to 148 Sulgrave Road, London, W67PU. - Please note, we can only run this tour if we have an attendance of 5 people. If we have to cancel the tour, we will give a week's notice. - If you cancel within a week of the event, half the cost of the tour will be refunded. If you cancel within 24 hours of the tour, we regret that we will not be able to refund any of the cost. - For any other questions please email rose@arthistoryuk.com or call on +44 (0) 207 602 3716.
