Farewell StarHouse Kirtan

Join us for our "Farewell" StarHouse Kirtan! After 13+ years, the future availability of the StarHouse is unknown and after 2015 we may not be able to hold events in this magical temple. Don't miss this chance to chant one more time in this incredible space, and also hold the intention that some day we will be able to return!

Led by Scott Medina, these evenings are propelled by the rhythm of our band: Shanti Medina, Gayan Gregory Long, Steve Bross, Robert Rand and Eyal Rivlin will be joining us this evening, too! At times meditative, at other times ecstatic, you will often be drawn to move your body as well as chant along. Our evenings here at the StarHouse have been legendary, be sure not to miss our "farewell" gathering!

Bring a seating cushion and water bottle if desired. Limited back-jacks, cushions and bench seating are provided.

If you don't want to use Brown Paper Tickets, you may also order tickets via check by sending a check payable to "SoMAntra" and mail to SoMAntra, 765 Gilpin Drive, Boulder 80303. $15 each in advance, be sure to include names of all attendees. Any remaining tickets will be on sale at the door for $20. We expect to sell out, either at the door or in advance.

Directions to the StarHouse: The StarHouse is located 3.5 miles west of Boulder up Sunshine Canyon. From 4th Street and Mapleton Avenue in Boulder, drive west on Mapleton Avenue (which turns into "Sunshine Canyon") about 3.5 miles. Turn right at the sign that reads "3476." You'll drive up the driveway. Parking is clearly marked at the *top* of the hill. After parking, walk down the other side of the hill, towards the StarHouse, which you'll soon see through the trees. Please wear shoes appropriate for a short walk through a forest (you'll be taking them off once inside the StarHouse), and bring a flashlight to help.
