Amador County Historical Farm Tour and Dinner
Farms of Amador and the Amador Farmers' Market are holding their annual joint fundraiser, a farm tour and dinner, Saturday, May 5.
The farm tour focuses on historical farms in the Clinton Road area of Jackson, culminating in a dinner at the Kennedy Mine. The self-guided tour includes a booklet with a map including many historical points of interest, and stops at several historic and contemporary farms.
In honor of Cinco de Mayo, the dinner will be Mexican-style, and prepared with ingredients sourced from Amador County.
Attendees will also enjoy a raffle, an auction, and live music by the Slade Rivers Band.
