JCC East Bay Parenting Seminar "Food for Thought"
Join Chef Hilla for a talk on how to: Add more variety to your family's meals Prepare kid-friendly meals that are easy and healthy Avoid being a short-order cook: one dinner that makes all happy!
Dr. Hilla Abel is an optometrist turned natural foods chef. After seeing the results of improper eating on her patients' eyes, Dr. Hilla became impassioned to teach the benefits of healthy eating. A graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health & Culinary Arts, Hilla helps through coaching & cooking classes. Hilla developed the culinary program at Central Queens Y & the gluten-free program at the JCC of Manhattan Culinary Arts Center. As a mom, she understands the challenges of preparing meals for a family and shows families across the country how to create healthy, enjoyable, and stress-free meals.
