---------------------------------------------------------------- Meet AAF Scholar Anne Mueni Muli
Anne Mueni Muli is a role model for all students who follow her--she is the first Asante Africa Foundation scholar to reach beyond high school to graduate from university. From a very young age, Anne has worked alongside her family to pay for school fees, uniforms and supplies. Because of her tenacity, her family's commitment, and the generosity of the many friends of Asante Africa Foundation, Anne proudly completed her degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management from Kisii University this past May.
Fueled by her passionate commitment, Anne's efforts extend beyond school studies--Anne believes in "paying it forward" by working with young members of her community. She currently serves as Program Coordinator for the 2015 Asante Africa Leadership Entrepreneurship Incubator, sharing her lessons learned of hard work as the path to achieve dreams.
Anne's family are proudly looking forward to her graduation diploma ceremony in December of 2015. Anne credits her family, all the mentors who supported her, the generous donors and dynamic programs of Asante Africa Foundation, and her own determination to overcome the many roadblocks that stood in her way.
While satisfied by this milestone accomplishment, Anne is driven toward a new challenge--a Master's Degree program in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Given her determined spirit and achievements to date, we are confident Anne will continue to "reach new heights" in all she pursues!
