The Nutcracker - McDonough, Georgia
Founded in 1989 by Gregory Aaron, Atlanta Festival Ballet Company has delighted audiences for 24 years with its holiday classic, The Nutcracker. Atlanta Festival Ballet Company is a culturally diverse company with genuine interest in community outreach. Company dancers and apprentices often perform at area festivals, libraries, nursing homes/centers, libraries, schools, and art camps throughout the year to familiarize audiences with this unique form of art.
This full length ballet is choreographed by two charismatic directors, Jocelyn Buchanan and Keila Harvey. Both directors continually strive to achieve the company's mission to present quality ballet and promote an atmosphere of acceptance and appreciation for dance performance.
The dancers who include several professional dancers, pre-professionals, guest artists, apprentices, and students, will awe you with outstanding techniques and costumes from all around the world.
