BERNARD ROBICHAUD a/k/a CYRUS LIVE AT THE FLYING BEAVER PUBARET
FRIDAY, APRIL 13th and SATURDAY, APRIL 14th, 7 P.M.

BERNARD ROBICHAUD a/k/a CYRUS from TRAILER PARK BOYS - LIVE AT THE FLYING BEAVER PUBARET

You know Cyrus as the "shit for brains" drug dealer on the hit TV show, Trailer Park Boys. The actor who played Cyrus for 10 years, Bernard Robichaud, has been touring a stand up comedy act based on that character called, Drug Dealer or Public Speaker? His tour makes a stop at the pubaret for two nights.

Bernard portrays an uneducated drug dealer whose stories of crime, sex, drugs and very little rock and roll will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Bernard co-wrote the act with Mike Myers Award-nominated comedian Andrew Young, Doug Gamble, who wrote for Bob Hope, Phyllis Diller, Rodney Dangerfield, among others, and Praxis Award-winning writer, Rudy Thauberger.

Bernard, who was born in Boston but now resides in Canada, is a model-turned-actor. His career spans 25 years, and includes numerous TV and film credits. He's worked with such Hollywood heavyweights as James Caan and Kathy Bates.

Among his most recent credits are:

- the Trailer Park Boys 2008 Special

- the new Trailer Park Boys feature film in his recurring role of Cyrus

- Blue Seduction, co-starring with Billy Zane and Estella Warren where he plays the role of Stanley Miles, Zane's close personal friend

- American Sunset, where he co-stars with his friend, the late Corey Haim, playing the roles of Bob Ferlan and the Bounty Hunter.

His current projects include: writing his screenplay, Kitchen Sports, an adaptation of his 1995 play set to go to camera in 2012; A Woman Scorned, a screenplay feature thriller; and a new sitcom he has co-written, The Adventures of Black Bart.
