A Behanding in Spokane
The Costa Mesa Playhouse presents acclaimed British-Irish playwright Martin McDonagh's first American-set play, "A Behanding in Spokane," running Oct. 23 - Nov. 15, 2015. The lives of four quirky characters intersect in a seedy hotel room in small town America. Carmichael has been searching for his missing left hand for a quarter of a century. Enter two bickering, drug-dealing lovebirds with a hand to sell, plus a hotel clerk with an aversion to gunfire, and we're set for a hilarious and profane roller coaster ride of love, hate, desperation and hope. Suitable for mature audiences only. Contains adult language.
"A Behanding in Spokane" is directed by Michael Serna and stars Peter Hilton, Angel Correa, Jeff Rolle Jr., and Zoe Fiske. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. Tickets are $18 for all seats at the Oct. 23 Preview performance; $22 for general admission and $20 for students and seniors for the Oct. 24 Gala opening night, which includes a catered post-show reception. For all other performances, tickets for adults are $20, seniors & students are $18. Groups of 10 or more are $13 each. Reservations can be made at www.costamesaplayhouse.com or by calling 949-650-5269. The playhouse is located at 661 Hamilton Street in Costa Mesa.
