Hidden Chelsea: Paradise (Lost?) of Artists and Kings
Sandwiched in between the chaotic Embankment and King's Road, Old Chelsea is a tucked away jewel that is bursting with secrets from the past. Unlocking the history of the streets, we'll find ourselves in beautiful, tranquil surroundings that recall the Tudor village for Kings and councilor, the Georgian centre for retired veterans, the Victorian inspiration for writers, poets, artists and philosophers. We'll visit Chelsea Old Church, Cheyne Walk, Tite Street and Chelsea Hospital and will discuss the lives of Henry VIII, Thomas More, Catherine Parr, Hans Sloane, Christopher Wren, Thomas Carlisle, JWM Turner, James McNeill Whistler, Lord Byron, John Singer Sargent, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, George Eliot and many more.

*Cancellation Policy
If you cancel within a week of the event, half the cost of the tour will be refunded. If you cancel within 24 hours of the tour, we regret that we will not be able to refund any of the cost. Please note that we can only run this tour if we have an attendance of 7 people. If we have to cancel the tour we will give a week's notice.
