Arsenic And Old Lace
Arsenic And Old Lace By Joseph Kesselring
Presented by Spotlight Players Theatre Troupe of Puyallup
The year is 1941; the place, Brooklyn New York. Meet the charming and innocent Brewster sisters, Martha and Abby. The two are famous in their neighborhood for their kindness and generosity. Their home has long been a place of peace and refuge, where strangers are welcomed, and the local reverend and neighborhood beat cops can always find a cup of tea and warm biscuits with homemade jam. But tranquility gives way to hilarious mayhem when nephew Mortimer stumbles upon a deep, dark family secret. The return of a long forgotten relative with his partner (an eccentric plastic surgeon), and the antics of the lovable Teddy (who's convinced he's President Roosevelt), only adds to chaos. Come enjoy this madcap comedy with a touch of the macabre!
Produced by special arrangements with Dramatists Play Services Inc. New York.
