Ten unstoppable women become one multifaceted voice. Nine hundred and fifty one years of deeply rooted stories that will take you on a personal journey of revelation. daring to remember ghosts and shadows, fearless illuminations.
  In the tales of 'UHANE, bodies swirl, extend, caress, in a whisper that is tender but strong, unearthing memories - is this real or an imagined ghost story? Is it my aunt of 82 years, grounding me from a life that always felt awash? When she taught me to sew at three, did she know the power and the strength she was granting me forever?
  A seamless weaving of gesture, emotion driven movement and choreography that is infused with the clarity of voice, 'UHANE is Purple Moon Dance Projects' most ambitious performance. Applauding Purple Moon's 20 year anniversary, 'UHANE celebrates the spirit stories in all of us.
