Discovering Basic Goodness
The Brown University Contemplative Studies Initiative is pleased to present this introduction to Tibetan Buddhist meditation with Dr. Mitchell Levy.  Dr. Levy has been practicing critical care medicine for 25 years and meditating for over 40.  He is Chief of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Brown University Alpert Medical School and is Medical Director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Rhode Island Hospital.  He is an Acharya -- a senior teacher--  in the Shambhala Buddhist tradition.  He teaches Buddhism worldwide and combines his professional and spiritual practices through research in and education on end-of-life care.

Question: Can we buy tickets in advance? Can I buy two tickets with my brown id? Thanks.
Answer: Yes, tickets can be purchased in advance for the upcoming weekends. Internet ticket sales for this weekend have closed. Seats are still available, and can be purchased at the door with cash/check. One ticket per Brown/RISD ID. IDs will be checked at the door.
