Songea Soiree 2015: RAISE THE ROOF! Join Songea's Kids on November 7, 2015, 5:00 p.m., at the Northwest African American Museum in Seattle for our annual fundraiser. Enjoy a free museum tour, food, drinks, and live and silent auctions with proceeds supporting at risk orphaned and vulnerable children in Songea, Tanzania, East Africa.
Raising the Roof over the heads of 160 of the most vulnerable children, including babies and street children in need of nurturing care, will create the power to lift these children from extreme poverty to lead healthy, productive lives. With your help and support, the facility will move closer to completion so these orphans can become educated and empowered as nurses, teachers, business leaders, mechanics, builders, self-reliant workers and entrepreneurs.
At the event, you will hear from a team that just returned from Songea and Lutukira, sites of our southern Tanzania programs. And we will celebrate seven years of success for Songea's Kids.
