Grow Heat Lovers
Fresh, homegrown tomatoes, peppers and eggplants are some of the most delicious veggies to come out of the garden each summer, but they can be tricky to grow. This class will teach you everything you need to know to grow the biggest, earliest and most flavorful warm weather crops. You will learn about season extension techniques, trellising, pruning, fertilizing, watering and harvesting. We will also cover favorite varieties that grow well in the Pacific Northwest. If you love tomatoes, peppers and eggplants, don't miss this class! Be the envy of your neighbors. The class is held outdoors with hands-on activities. Please dress for the weather and messy garden soil.
