2nd Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival - On Tour Truckee
Join Mountain Area Preservation for the 2nd Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival On Tour in Historic Downtown Truckee, Friday October 9th & Saturday October 10th. Two nights of award winning films celebrating the environment, adventure & activism!
Films will be shown at the Community Arts Center, 10046 Church Street Truckee, CA 96161
Saturday October 10th - Wild & Scenic 2015 Films- Matinee & Evening Film Screenings
MAP will host two sessions of environmental films with themes including Adventure with a Purpose, Special Places, Water, Fish, Rock Climbing, Mountain Biking and more!! The matinee film screening will start at 3pm, box office will open at 2pm, and the evening film screening will start at 6pm. This years Wild & Scenic-On Tour in Truckee is sponsored by Keep Truckee Green, Truckee Donner Chambers of Commerce, Epic Promise Vail Resorts, Cabona's, Brand Greek, Truckee Downtown Merchants Association, Truckee Donner Public Utilities District, Copy Center, & New Moon Natural Foods.
The festival will have drinks, a raffle, music and food for sale by Tahoe Food Hub & Picnic Tahoe! The first 50 people on Saturday will receive a stainless steel water bottle from the Truckee Donner Public Utilities District
Youth/Student ticket $15, Adult ticket $25. Tickets are good for both film screenings on October 10th, matinee & evening films. For more information on the films for Saturday go to www.MountainAreaPreservation.org
