Be That Guy (A Cat and Two Men)
Be That Guy (A Cat and Two Men) begins in a veterinarian's office. Keith is there with a cat that belonged to his ex. The cat, Luciano, is simply "a means to an end." Trey enters from an examining room bereft, having just put his own cat to sleep. Trey's sorrow at the loss of his best friend and his mistrust of men have left him a vulnerable empty shell, ripe for someone like Keith. Six months into what becomes a comfortable domestic partnership, a phone call from Keith's ex changes everything.
This is a story of a relationship that comes together out of convenience, but ultimately affirms that a person's ability to heal sometimes walks into his life on four paws.
