Baking Sign-Up Party
Baking Seasonal Fall Desserts will be held on Wednesday, October 7th from 10:30am-1pm.
The party will be sponsored and instructed by Bonnie Lin at her home. Bonnie is a graduate of the Culinary Arts program at the French Culinary Institute (now called the International Culinary Center) in New York City.
Bonnie will be teaching how to make desserts using ingredients such as apple, pear and pumpkin. For example, we may make apple cider donuts, farmer's market apple cake, pumpkin bread and pear turnovers. Together in an intimate setting, we will learn techniques such as where to shop in the area for the best ingredients, organizing your kitchen (mise en place), using a knife properly, convection baking and more.
The price is $50 per participant. Due to space limitations, this session is limited to 10.
