Rachel Maddow, journalist and political commentator extraordinaire, hosts The Rachel Maddow Show on MSNBC. One of the most respected and entertaining political analysts on television today, Rachel leans over backward to let everyone have their say. Her coverage is incisive and brilliant, and as she scorches the inanity of Washington gridlock, campaigning and policy muddles, she is so witty and restrained. Her new book, Drift, deals with the the ease with which American military decisions can be made, and it is written in her conversational, accessible style. A copy of the book is included in the ticket price.
Bill Maher, the host of HBO's Real Time With Bill Maher, ranks as our most outspoken and most influential political satirist on television. Bill's guests, international and national leaders, as well as cultural icons, weigh in and take on the political and cultural issues of the moment. Bill starts where everyone else has left off. He's compiled a list of new rules, in his new book called The New New Rules: How Everybody But Me Has Their Head Up Their Ass.
Doors will open at 6:00 pm.
Each ticket includes a copy of Rachel Maddow's book, Drift, which must be collected on the night of the program. We will not ship any uncollected books. Extra copies will be available for sale at the theater. Rachel will sign the books at the theater in person, as a way of saying hello and thanks.There will be no personalizing, and no posed photos. Only your copy of Drift will be signed so please don't bring any other materials to be signed.
