Mystic Mountain Treasure Hunting Adventure
Join us October 16 -18th for an immersive, rollicking camp-out and scavenger hunt event. Mystic Mountain will be hosted at Windward Education & Research Center in Wahkiacus, WA (near Klickitat). This facility boasts improved campgrounds, oak forested trails... and hot showers. Guests Ages 21+ please.
This is a costume event. You are invited to interact as persona characters at your whim throughout the weekend. While we expect it will mostly be black-hearted buccaneers with lust enough to come hunt for the loot, the Ways open on many strange places. Adventurers from any land are welcome to attend.
Saturday will be filled with a fine Autumn frolic. The forest is ripe with magical treasures and trinkets swept up by the winds of fate and deposited here like so much flotsam. But there is tell of even richer booty, squirreled away in this mysterious place by savvy Captains; never reclaimed before an untimely demise. It's every man for himself, and what you finds you keeps... or play with your mates and divvy up the plunder!
Saturday night starting at 6:00 pm we will feast as if tomorrow were never comin'. For weird reasons of their own, to do with "courts" and "seasons" or such rubbish, it is the custom of the faefolk to name the year's "Storymaster" at this time. If you want to compete, you will have 5 to 10 minutes to impress the crowd. Spaces are limited, so be sure to mark it down on your registration form if you want a slot. First come, first serve!
Feeding and Feasting
The ticket price includes a meal plan for you swabbies, orchestrated by our very own Cookie and Brewmaster Extraordinaire, Jonny Moonshine. Saturday's dinner will be a Grande Feast - fit for a hoard of adventurers and privateers like your fine selves!
On the menu:
Friday Night- Stew from a Stone
The house will provide meat, potatoes and stew pot basics. Bring your contributions to the mess and drop them off at the kitchen upon your arrival; or bring sides to share!
Saturday Night- Adventurer's Feast
Fire-Roasted Meats and a spread with all the trimmings!
Breakfasts
The house will provide steaming hot porridge and coffee service.
Note: Bring your own sack lunch for Saturday, and snacks if you want them!
