Art of the Pie: How To Make English Pork Pies, A Demonstration
Learn to make an authentic Hand Formed English Pork Pie with Kate McDermott, award winning pie-maker who will demonstrate a hot water crust, how to roll and hand form a pork pie as well as using a "dolly" in this 2.5 hour class. A delicious artisan pork filling will also be demonstrated. You will receive recipes for pork pie pastry and filling as well as snacking on delicious pork pies and a beverage. Kate McDermott is the creator and founder of Art of the Pie. Since 2006 she has taught the time-honored craft of pie making to thousands. One of the most highly sought-after culinary instructors in the Northwest, Kate is widely acknowledged as one of the best makers of pie ever.
