A One Man Show Inviting us into the Life and Times of Tennessee Williams.
The life of Tennessee Williams was turbulent; much of the time, unhappy. A closeted homosexual until well into middle age, (coming out officially in his Memoirs published when he was 62 yrs. old) his only respite was his work. He wrote often. It sustained him; nourished his soul and gave him reason to keep living. Even when years of abusing alcohol and barbiturates drained him of his creative power, he continued to write. His work is filled with incredibly memorable images of haunting beauty. Writer/actor, William Shuman captures the essence of the writer and the man in this fitting tribute to William's 100th birthday.
GROUPS of 10 or more get a 25 percent discount. Groups of 10 or more STUDENTS get 1 chaperone comp for every 10 students, and must call 1-800-838-3006 to reserve the tickets.
