"A Gift for Emma"
Through this dance production, the Denton City Contemporary Ballet allows Denton's children, young and old, to experience once again the enchantment of make-believe, wrapped in colorful ribbons of dance from ballet to hip-hop, contemporary, and jazz. The dancers bring energy, excitement and talent to the stage as they celebrate the 13th year of this annual holiday tradition.
Artistic Director, Lisa Racina-Torre's choreography brings to life a "Nutcracker-esque" narrative, adding the wonderment of undersea creatures, and a heroin to whom everyone can relate.
