Eastlake Holiday Cruise
The Eastlake Community Council and Champagne Cruises invite you to the Dec. 1 holiday cruise on the historic icebreaker the Islander. Boarding begins at 5:30 p.m. at 1611 Fairview Ave. E. We depart at 6:45 p.m. to join the "Christmas ships" for the opening night concert on Lake Union; return is at 9 p.m. Price is $15 (kids up to 4 years old are free). Purchase tickets on this web site or over the counter at the 220 Nickerson offices of Brown Paper Tickets. Ticket price includes a catered dinner: marinara spaghetti sauce (vegetarian) and noodles, with a meatball side option; Caesar salad bar (vegetarian); garlic bread; cookies; and fruit punch. There is also a no-host cash-only bar. You are invited to bring a food item or cash donation for the University District Food Bank.
