Burlesque Primer: A Non-Performance Workshop
Burlesque Non-Performance Workshop: A four week introduction to Burlesque! Start building your Burlesque persona, and Tease Toolbox! This class is a great way to explore burlesque and develop your ideas without the pressure of performance.
This class meets on four consecutive Mondays, 6-9pm: November 21, 28, Dec 5, 12
$375 for group classes. $75 non-refundable deposit required to hold your place, payment in full at first class or by arrangement.
Material covered will include: Picking a stage name and developing a character & persona; Burlesque history and evolution as a contemporary art form; Performance skills including facial expressions, body positioning, and stage awareness; The art of the Tease & moving while re-moving clothing, and how to begin building a Burlesque costume!
